Well, we just received the “skin” from BlueLine today and love the look of it. This means that we are very close to switching from the blahzo look of what I’ve been used to now for a few weeks to the very cool design we saw a few minutes ago. Get ready - it is awesome!

As we started this project back in June, I’ve been paranoid of other sites coming out a lot like ours - and just in the last few weeks have seen several of them pop up. At first it was very aggravating to see someone beat us to the punch, but it is also very nice to actually go to their sites and see that ours still is unique and, all biased opinions aside, better! I’m learning to not become so paranoid of competition - I think that competition should make every site better, but it’s just tough to get used to. I am kind of a paranoid person to begin with, you see.

No hunting for me the last couple weeks. That has been an adjustment - it seems like the last two months, that’s all I’ve been doing! Well, that and editing film of hunts. The scheduled hunt with my uncle in November has been canceled, but I’m still excited about following my dad on a moose hunt (man, the season lasts forever!) and I’m very excited about following my mom and my brother on a December archery hunt for deer. We’ve got a steelhead fishing trip tentatively planned - as in, we haven’t set any dates, we just know we’re going this winter! And, a new plan is to video a pheasant hunt here shortly. We’re still a little curious ourselves as to how that’ll work. I guess we’ll just have to wing it - get it? Wing it. When I start trying to be funny, I know it is time to close this blog. So, I’ll sign off for now - but in the meantime, be on the watch for our “new look!”
