Thanksgiving

Well, the national face stuffing holiday is come and gone, and already Santa Clause is taking over my world. But, before I get all Scrooged up for the holiday season, I should mention a few things I’m thankful for.
I’m thankful for:
The physical ability to hunt, fish, and enjoy nature in it’s wildest, most pure form.

The privilege to wake up and love to go to work.

A wife that lets me pursue my dreams.

A family that supports my dream to create the greatest outdoors website.

A family that loves the outdoors and gave me the opportunity to love it myself.

Living in a country that still lets me hunt and fish.

Bugling bulls and rutting bucks.

The steelhead run - although I am wondering if it is all a myth, it does give me something to do in the winter!

Hunting shows that keep the fire burning.

Hunters (and general outdoors men and women) that are courteous and respectful to nature - and to other outdoors men and women.

Horses and Mules (because I want my back to last beyond my 35th birthday)

The integral parts of this website - my dad for trusting me to back me financially, and Blueline Grassroots for doing all the technical stuff that is way over my head.

The viewers - yup, that’s you.

Thanks.
