Things got all mixed up today. I got up earlier than normal to go coyote hunting this morning. See, right off the bat, things are mixed up. I don’t like to get up earlier than normal. I got dressed, got all my stuff together, and went to warm up the pickup - no life. It wouldn’t even show me the courtesy of a whisper of trying to turn over. But, all hope is not lost because I have a pair of jumper cables - somewhere. I dug around in our other two rigs, and somewhere beneath the old fast food wrappers and stale doggie treats…EUREKA! We’re in business now, boy. I slapped the jumpers on the truck and let it sit a few minutes. Then I hopped in and cranked the key. Rrrrr. Not what I was hoping for. I tried a few more times, but to no avail. I think I need bigger cables. Anyways, it looks like the coyotes I was hoping to send to the big sheep herd in the sky will have to suffer here amongst the deer herds and flocks of chukars, quails, and pheasants here on earth for another day. I am hoping to go with a buddy of mine who owns a truck that actually runs when he asks it to tomorrow. So, don’t give up on us, yet! Check back on Monday for what we hope to be a tale of two hunters doing their duty and laying the hammer to a few coyotes.
