Welcome to 2008

Well, it’s been entirely too long since I’ve posted - my apologies! Between hunting trips and family trips for the holidays, it has been a long while since I’ve sat down in front of a computer.

We got back from our week long archery deer hunt on Saturday December 29, and then I left for Moses Lake, WA to meet up with my wife at her folks’ place. We brought the new year in and then spent a few days up there with family we haven’t seen in some time and just got back to our corner of the world on Thursday night. I hope everyone had a fun, enjoyable, and safe New Year.

I will post a more in depth blog later, but just a quick rundown of our hunting trip - we had three tags and brought them all home empty. The country was amazing, the companionship was great, the hunting full of memories, but no blood on the hill. We saw a lot of game, but the terrain and weather made sneaking difficult to say the least.

Again, I’ll post more on Monday - till then, happy hunting and be safe!
