We’ve long been worried about the “slower than we’d like” pace of the site - as in, things haven’t been getting done in the timely manner we’ve been wanting - so Saturday we met with Justin, our esteemed project manager/marketing guru/comic relief man - to be honest, I don’t have a title for him - and had a very positive and motivating meeting.

Among the things accomplished is the hiring of a new web designer - someone who is in a better position to spend the time our project needs for growth, and someone who is very educated in the use of WordPress (our website application of choice)! Also, we hammered out a list of things we need to have completed before we go on with our full launch, and we’ll get an estimated time line for completion sometime this week. All very good things, indeed. For us here at BCL, it is starting to feel like we’ve found out how to get the foot off the brake and we’re finding the gas pedal. Sure, it hurts to think of the precious dollars going away when we stomp on the gas pedal, but at the same time, it feels oh-so-good just to be going somewhere!

The big changes aren’t really so much changes as they are getting back to our original model and idea. Of course, keep your nose poking back in here, and we’ll have updates as we go along here.
