There are only a few things that even come close to my love for hunting, fishing, and camping. One of those things, though, is baseball. I absolutely love the sport, and it really helps me during this time of year when fall hunting season seems so far away. I am sitting here, even now, listening to the Mariners take on the Angels in a meaningless spring training game, and yet, I feel like the “other season” is here in my two season world - hunting/fishing/camping season and baseball season. There is something about baseball that gives me a similar feeling that the world of the outdoors gives me - some sort of peace, contentment, and general happiness. It’s a relaxing sport that, like life in the outdoors, makes everything feel right in the world. Maybe I’m simply talking in circles - bottom line is this - Man, I’m glad baseball is here!
