This trip started more than two years ago, and now we have our first phase completed to our satisfaction. The new design, created by Sarah Lewis, is finished, and personally, I couldn’t be more pleased with what she did with our site. Those of you who have been following the site - feel free to leave your comments about the new design. We hope you all enjoy it.
This puts us in full launch mode, now. It comes during a busy time for us as bear season is in full swing and both my brother and myself hold tags this year. My brother, Todd, went out Saturday with Dad and they found one bear. Todd missed a long shot (400 yards) but this only fuels the fire. I was a little hesitant about hunting bear as I’ve never seen many bear while hunting before (in both our units, the use of dogs and/or bait is prohibited). So, just the simple fact that they saw a bear has got me pumped to get out, too. We’re ready to really let loose with this site and hope you all enjoy the stories put together on this site - and of course, feel free to share your own stories. I’m sure they are plentiful as spring hunting and fishing kicks into high gear!
