Trying Hard

Well, I may have bit off more than I can chew with this one, but I wanted to point out some pretty cool things we’ve got going on here that we’ve made available to members of this site. We promised to give members the ability to upload, share, and watch videos and we’re going to deliver.
Check it out here. Anyone can watch videos hosted here, but you will have to register to upload your own videos. You can upload videos straight from your computer, or you can grab them from another place on the internet if you’ve already hosted them somewhere else, and you can put them on our site. This should be a load of fun and good exposure for all you folks that enjoy video taping your hunting and fishing trips. If you have any problems at all from registering to uploading, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
The other cool feature we’ve got going on is still a work in progress, but it’s worth checking out - especially if you already have a Flickr account. We now have photo sharing available and encourage you to upload your photos to our group page so they can be shown on the BaseCampLegends.com homepage. We have 4 groups set up on Flickr -

Base Camp Legends: Youngsters
Base Camp Legends: General Outdoors
Once you have a Flickr account (set it up here - it’s free!) you can begin uploading photos to Flickr. Once you have your photos uploaded to Flickr, you can go to any one of those four groups mentioned above and add your photos to the lineup in which your photo best fits. Your photos then will automatically end up on the Base Camp Legends homepage and you can show off your hunting/fishing albums to all your friends! As before, if you have any questions, feel free to contact me!
Lastly, some of you may have already noticed it, but we’re launching a forum. I’ve been dragging my feet on writing a blog about it because I’m not sure if I’ve got the time to manage it properly, but I’ve now decided that it’s now or never - time isn’t going to magically appear any time down the road! So, if you’d like to check out our forum and tell some lies stories, or share information with locals, or even if you want to get in heated debates about your favorite sports team, check out the BaseCampLegends.com forum!
These new features will make it much easier to bring like minded people together to share stories - through video, pictures, blogs, and forums. The final thing I’d like to point out is our partnership with Cory Glauner of gothunts.com fame. We’ve become a broker for him and if you are interested in booking a great hunt check out the button in the right sidebar to hook up with some awesome outfitters!
Some great things you have going on there. I’m going to try and get around to sharing a couple of my videos. That will be fun.
Forums are a hard one to take care, and very time consuming. Good luck. That being said I would join and participate.
You are one busy guy. I did join the forum and left my first “sports” message.
Wow, you are sure making some great additions to your site… I will have to get some pictures/video up as well as visit the forum!
