A Lucky Man

I loved this blog from Arthur over at SimplyOutdoors.net yesterday and it got me to thinking about some of the special times I’ve shared with my wife in the outdoors.  We just passed our fourth wedding anniversary one week ago today, on the 7th this month, and I find that I love her more every day.  But, what amazed me early on in our relationship was her excitement for all things outdoors.

Last Call for Brownlee 2008


First off, I’d like to say thank you to the Idaho Press Tribune for running a piece about Base Camp Legends.  I’ve included the jpeg image, above, of the newspaper page because the PDF file was too big - and I’m not in the mood to shrink it!  As the weather remains hot, bass fishing has reportedly been slow, but we thought we’d give it a test this weekend.

After a particularly tough week its time to get my head screwed on frontwards and get back to work.  There’s nothing that helps this to happen like having good friends over and we’ve had a bunch.  And when you have good friends over, the stories start flowing which soon sets the world upright again.
